AirDrop is a way to stream content through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi service. Apple launched the AirDrop service first with the iOS 7 version which works on the high-speed peer to peer exchange of content. The service is available only for the Apple built products and the devices which support AirDrop. Since the high speed transferring facilitates the content to be sent on other Apple Device quickly within a few seconds, AirDrop is used excessively by the Apple customers.
The service is fantastic because it doesn’t require any wired network. The wireless setup beams almost anything from the iOS or MacOS devices. What else does a user need? Another thing that makes it more interesting is that it is secure and convenient to control. Some of the users are facing problems since their AirDrop is not working. If you are also facing the same problem, then don’t fret and follow the methods to resolve the issue.
Here’s how to fix AirDrop not Working
Adjusting AirDrop
AirDrop has three options which are Off, Contacts Only and Everyone. The Contacts Only is a complicated option to use. Hence choose the Everyone option to reduce the complications.
Since Wi-Fi or Bluetooth services are required to run AirDrop, it is necessary to check if the two are active or not.
Hard Reset varies with iPhone version; hence follow the method compatible with your iPhone.
Resetting takes a long time, but the methods are capable of resolving the error in network settings.
