  3. Now, select Everyone from the option.
If your Mac is not showing while you are trying to use AirDrop from the iOS device then-

  2. Select AirDrop from the sidebar.
  3. Toggle the Everyone from the options.
  4. Now, your Mac will be visible on AirDrop.
Check Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Status
Since Wi-Fi or Bluetooth services are required to run AirDrop, it is necessary to check if the two are active or not.
  1. Selectan image and tap the Sharing
  2. The phone will detect it and automatically activate Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
  3. Now, select AirDrop to start sharing.
  4. If it doesn’t work, then manually turn on both the services.
  5. Launch Settingsof your iOS device.
  6. Tap Wi-Fiand toggle on the service.
  7. Similarly, tap Bluetoothand toggle on the service.
On the Mac system
  1. Open System Preferencesin your Mac.
  2. Click Networkand select Turn Wi-Fi On.
  3. Click Bluetoothand select Turn Bluetooth On.
  4. If two are already on, then turn offand then toggle on
Try Hard Reset
Hard Reset varies with iPhone version; hence follow the method compatible with your iPhone.
  1. For iPhone 6 versions– Press and hold the Power Button and Home Button until the screen turn off. Keep pressing the buttons until the Apple Logo appears.
  2. For iPhone 7 versions– Press and hold the Power Button and Volume down Button of your device and keep pressing until the screen goes off and on again.
  3. For iPhone 8 versions– Press and release Volume Up quickly and then Volume Down quickly. Now press the Side button. Keep pressing the button even after the screen goes off.
Reset Network in Your Device
Resetting takes a long time, but the methods are capable of resolving the error in network settings.
  1. Launch Settingsapp in your device.
  2. Tap Generalto enter the menu.
  3. Now, select Resetfrom the bottom of the display.
  4. Tap Reset Network Settings.
  5. Now, enter the Passcodeand select Reset Network Settings to confirm.
  6. Now reconnectWi-Fi network and Bluetooth devices.
