The worldwide popular operating
system, Windows, has been running in several computers, and people are not
hesitant about being Microsoft’s customers. With new versions, new things were
either added or replaced the older ones like Microsoft Edge replaced Internet
Explorer. Similarly, the developer company added a new and faster feature in
Windows Start Menu. Microsoft offered the Start Menu Search Bar for the first
time in its Windows 7 version. But later in Windows 10, the company advanced
the option with a combination of Windows 7 start menu and Windows 8 start apps.
Even though the operating system
works correctly and smoothly, sometimes it faces problems resulting in the
performance of the system. Most of the users have reported that the Start Menu
is not searching for anything in Windows 10. According to them, the problem is
occurring post update of the Windows in the computer system. When attempted to
search in the start menu, the process does not show any results. Some of the
cases are related to Cortana as well. While the search begins, it starts to
show Cortana related issues in results.
It is quite a big issue as the search
bar reduces the effort of the user to access a particular location on a
computer. There could be various reasons like a malware program is restricting
the program from being executed, or a third party tool is conflicting the files
of the operating system. If you are facing the same problem in the computer,
then don’t worry as the guide is listing some fixes to troubleshoot the start
